Terms of Use

Last updated: 26 September 2026

These terms govern your use of Tamam Delivery — the website tamam-delivery.com, the iOS and Android apps and the App Clip (the “Service”). By creating an account or placing an order, you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy Policy.

1. What Tamam Delivery is

Tamam Delivery is a marketplace. We show menus of restaurants in El Gouna and pass your orders to them. The restaurants are independent businesses:

  • they set their menus, prices, delivery fees, minimum order amounts and opening hours;
  • they prepare the food and deliver it with their own couriers;
  • your purchase is made from the restaurant, and the restaurant is responsible for the food and the delivery.

Tamam is not a restaurant or a courier service. We provide the platform and help when something goes wrong.

How restaurants are listed. By default, restaurants that can take your order now come first. Restaurants we recommend are shown higher and marked “Featured” — this can be our own choice or paid promotion. Ratings and reviews cannot be bought, and payment does not change them.

2. Your account

You must be 18 or older to create an account and order. Give accurate details — especially your phone number and delivery address, as the restaurant relies on them. Keep your password to yourself: you are responsible for orders placed from your account. We may suspend or close accounts used for fraud, abuse or repeated false orders.

3. Placing an order

  • When you place an order, it goes to the restaurant, which accepts or rejects it. The order is confirmed when the restaurant accepts it. If it rejects it, the reason is shown on the order page.
  • Prices, taxes (VAT) and any service charge are shown as set by the restaurant. The delivery fee is set by the restaurant and shown before you order.
  • Orders from linked restaurants can travel together with one courier and one delivery fee, as shown in the basket.
  • You can order for a later time, including ahead of the restaurant’s opening, within the times offered.
  • Delivery times are estimates.

4. Changes and cancellation

If something you ordered is unavailable, the restaurant may contact you to agree on a change — by phone, in the order chat or in WhatsApp. The total is recalculated, and you will see what changed on the order page. You don’t have to accept a change; in that case, the restaurant may cancel the order.

You can cancel an order yourself until the restaurant accepts it. After that, write to the restaurant in the order chat. The restaurant may also reject or cancel an order — for example if an item runs out, the kitchen is overloaded, the address is outside its delivery zone or you cannot be reached.

5. Payment

You pay the restaurant’s courier on delivery — in cash, by card on the courier’s terminal, or by Instapay where the restaurant offers it. Tamam does not take payments online and does not store card details. Receipts and invoices for the food are issued by the restaurant.

Discounts — including the El Gouna resident discount, restaurant discounts and coupons — apply as described in the Service: one discount per order, the most favourable one for you. A resident discount may be withdrawn if the card cannot be verified or has expired.

6. Delivery

Please be available at the delivery address and on your phone. If the courier cannot reach you, the restaurant may cancel the order. Check your order when it arrives, and tell the restaurant or us right away if something is wrong.

7. Food, allergens and alcohol

Restaurants are responsible for the food, the ingredients and allergen information. If you have an allergy or dietary need, ask the restaurant in the order chat before ordering. Alcoholic drinks, where a restaurant offers them, are sold only to adults of legal drinking age under Egyptian law. The courier may ask for ID and refuse to hand over alcohol.

8. Reviews and content

Reviews must be honest and based on your own order. Don’t post insults, personal data of others, advertising or anything unlawful. By posting a review, you let us display it in the Service. Restaurants can reply publicly, and we may hide content that breaks these rules. Order-chat messages are shared with the restaurant for that order.

9. Problems, complaints and refunds

If something went wrong, use the order chat or the complaint form on the order page, or write to [email protected]. We pass complaints to the restaurant and help find a solution. Because you pay the restaurant directly, refunds and replacements are decided and made by the restaurant.

10. Using the Service fairly

Don’t misuse the Service. In particular: no fake orders, no attempts to access other people’s accounts or our systems, no automated scraping or overloading, and no harassing restaurant staff or couriers.

11. Availability

We work to keep the Service available, but it may be interrupted for maintenance or reasons beyond our control. We may temporarily stop taking orders, for example before a launch or during maintenance — you can still browse menus. Restaurants may pause orders or stop working with Tamam.

12. Liability

The Service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, Tamam is not liable for the food, its preparation or delivery — they are the restaurant’s responsibility — nor for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.

13. Changes, law and contact

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the current version, and we will tell you about significant changes in advance. These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and disputes are resolved by the competent Egyptian courts, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live. The English text prevails over translations. Contact: [email protected].
